Architectural Committee (ARC)

The StillWaters Architectural Committee (ARC) plays a crucial role in maintaining a community’s aesthetic integrity and architectural harmony. This committee is responsible for reviewing and approving architectural changes or additions made by homeowners, ensuring that they align with the established guidelines and standards set by SWRA’s covenants including Exhibit “B” (Rules and Regulations of the Architectural Committee). The committee’s importance lies in its ability to safeguard property values and enhance the neighborhood’s overall appeal. By carefully evaluating proposed modifications, such as exterior renovations, landscaping plans, or new construction, the Architectural Committee helps maintain a cohesive and visually appealing environment. Their expertise and attention to detail ensure that changes made by individual homeowners do not negatively impact the overall character or consistency of the community. The committee’s role in preserving and enhancing property values and promoting a sense of pride and unity among residents makes it an essential component of a well-managed Homeowners Association.

Christmas Committee

The residents and visitors of StillWaters can enjoy beautiful Christmas decorations each year thanks to the hard work of many resident volunteers and the StillWaters maintenance and landscaping employees.  A signup sheet is available each year at the StillWaters Annual Meeting, and people are asked to volunteer their time and talents.  The committee begins working on ideas in the Summer and works thru the Fall on decorations for many different common areas in the development. Many of the decorations are spruced up or recycled from previous years but each year, the committee usually comes up with something new as well.  Many decorated spaces including our front entrance, Moonbrook Park, and the SWRA building lawn have become great photo backgrounds for family pictures.  If this committee interests you and you want to join a fun group, please contact the SWRA office, and leave your contact info.  It will be forwarded to the appropriate person, and you will be contacted.

Landscape Committee

StillWaters is a beautiful community with over 2120 acres of beautiful land that is heavily wooded with many natural trees, native plants, and wild animals. It is the goal of the Landscape team to create a community that blends with our environment.
We have a landscape team in-house that maintains 23 miles of right-a-way along the roadsides and all the common areas. A landscape committee made up of residence, many of whom are master gardeners, evaluate the landscape areas and suggest improvements to enhance all of these areas. The best kept secret is this group of employees become elves in November and December to present a spectacular holiday experience in the community.
