Treasurer's Report from Debbie Nigh

As you all know the majority of the funds for the operation of SWRA come from the maintenance fees each property owners pays. In 2008, this amount was projected to be $669,620. The majority of this money is collected in the first quarter of the year. As of March 25th, the shortfall is $32,063.
In an attempt to collect these past due funds, 89 accounts totaling $41,964.43 were placed with a collection service this last week. Most of these accounts are only past due for the current year. We also have placed 12 accounts totaling $16,405.87 with an attorney for small claims court. Most of these accounts are two-three years in arrears and the collection service was not able to successfully collect the past due accounts over a period of a year.

Click here to download a pdf of the MARCH 8, 2008 SWRA ANNUAL MEETING PRESENTATION StillWaters CLEAN-UP DAY - Set For Saturday, May 3 A community-wide clean-up of StillWaters’ streets and roadways has been set for Saturday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to noon. The Representatives of The Neighborhood Council, at the monthly meeting on March 18, voted to set this date for the event. This effort will be coordinated through your own Neighborhood Council Representative. For info on where to meet that day please call your Neighborhood Rep or get info online at www.stillwatersra.com. It won’t take long. Large plastic trash bags...filled up...into green trash bins...that’s it!
